My fiance' met me in Bangkok and the day after my arrival we celebrated her birthday. One of my buddies traveled with me and another I met up with on his return from India.

I asked my fiance' to find a bigger place to stay this trip and she found a newer hotel called Piman Garden Residence. The rooms were very big for only 750 Baht - but - the housekeeping service wasn't the best.

A newer restaurant in Khon Kaen that became one of my favorites. Live music, great food, and reasonable prices. Another reason to come here is it hasn't really been discovered - so it is not very crowded.

After our Buddhist ceremony to bless our marriage, we went a short distance down a dirt road to some property that my wife's uncle owns. A small building to eat lunch in and a fish pond kept us busy until the wedding reception held that night.

Our first night in Khon Kaen, after flying in from Bangkok and getting professional wedding photos taken, we went out for dinner. We got a call to come to Uncle's house for a small, family party.
