A very nice, laid back restaurant in Khon Kaen. This is right on the river and the tables are under thatched roofs. Most always a nice breeze. The food is excellent, service is superb, and the beer is ice cold.

On my first visit to Khon Kaen to meet my lady, I got to meet some of the family and friends of my wife. Great people and really down to earth.

Wanting to do something different, I went to a fish pond for about 1/2 a day. Total cost was about $6 USD and that included bait and tackle. I didn't catch anything, but had a very relaxing time and an excellent meal from the small restaurant there.

I love walking around the numerous temples in Thailand. They are beautiful, the monks are friendly, and it is a great way to spend some time during the day. Some of these temples are in the city and some were a short drive away.

My lady is a civil engineer, so she took me to the local dam. We walked around, crossed over, and visited a small temple. This is one of the sights to see if you are visiting Khon Kaen, Thailand.
