This is my wife's favorite restaurant. Excellent food, great prices, and live music. The only problem is that it is too popular and tends to be crowded especially on the weekend.

An outdoor beer garden/restaurant outside of the Kosa hotel in Khon Kaen, Thailand. Excellent food and drink and a live band. This is located in an area where tourists and expats hang out.

This is the hotel I stayed at during my first two visits to Khon Kaen. They have a small coffee shop out front with fresh brewed coffee and a local favorite for breakfast - Kai krata - sausages and eggs.

Thailand is promoting local products specific to certain areas of the country. This was in Roi-et (about one hour from Khon Kaen). The kids were from a local school and put on a song and dance show.

A beautiful temple in the heart of Khon Kaen - especially beautiful at night. It is unique in that there are three separate sections - Chinese, Thai and Indian.
